I have always loved living simply and the rustic charm of an old country barn, so when I came across this beautiful building reflecting all the traits of a barn, with a modern twist and cleverly designed by Briggs Edwards Solomon, I was so excited I couldn’t wait to share it with you all. By using earthy materials such as concrete, recycled timber and wool they have created a barn home that feels like it has a history, yet without the clutter of the past. The monochromatic colour scheme provides an uncluttered ambiance that allows the rustic texture of the building materials to be the focal point of the home. As our world gets more crazy and our lives become busier, we will turn to creating homes that are simple and beautiful with less clutter, but in finishes that we love. Here is a look I love and I hope you love this home as much as I do.
