Kitchen appliances are one item I think it’s worth spending a few extra dollars on. Buying a good quality fridge, oven and cooktop may seem like its going to cost the earth, but there are many advantages to having the higher quality appliances. Not only will they be more likely to stand the test of everyday use, but often the more expensive appliances are also the more energy efficient, saving you money in the long run!

If you are anything like me you will get sick of the cushions on your couch every couple of months! So why spend a lot of money on something that you may want to change up every season? There is really no need to spend a lot on these hardware finishes, when there are so many great affordable options around. Often light fittings and kitchen handles follow a trend, so when choosing remember they may not be what you like in 5 years time, so spend (or save) wisely.
