In the first of our colour spotlights we are looking at beautiful indigo! If you follow us on Instagram you will probably see this colour popping up constantly, it is one of my favourites. In fact I have a current obsession with dark blue lounges and all things indigo! Colour trends in home décor are constantly changing, but indigo has been in the spotlight for a while. Its a classic colour that works with so many others and doesn’t seem to date. Indigo is a striking shade of blue that works perfectly with white, brights, neutrals and even black. Whether it’s being bold and painting a whole room in an indigo tone or adding a pop of indigo in a cushion, it is a colour to add to any home!
From traditional to Scandinavian or beachy, indigo works perfectly for many styles of décor. It is a colour that works in a relaxed home and a more traditional setting. Think of ways to just add a little at a time, keeping it subtle or take the leap and paint the walls a deep indigo!
