While looking for inspiration for my current renovation, I came across a group of like minded bloggers in the U.S. who are part of a challenge to makeover a room in 6 weeks.
Linda form Calling It Home came up with idea and it was such a fun project she was swamped with participants. Knowing the time, effort and chaos that goes with renovating and remodelling I am inspired by such a challenge. While some of the bloggers are really just redecorating, others are fully renovating their space. We have selected our favourite makeovers to share lots of design goodness. Hope you are inspired like we are!
Let’s take a look at the Spring series with lots of before and after room makeovers, with many different looks and rooms. The participants get to choose the room they want to make over and some openly confide they are way out of their depth. Many bloggers are great at writing about decor and home projects, but when it comes to actually co-ordinating the practical side, they may not have the hands on skills to do so. These room makeovers show how changing colour, texture and pattern with good styling you can transform the look completely. Good luck to them all.

There’s something great in each of the room makeovers we have chosen, but I must say the two bathroom renovations are my best picks. I love them both for the use of texture, pattern and colour. Both are full renovations and we appreciate the time that takes so congratulations to Jenna Sue and Vanessa Francis for doing such beautiful work in that time line.
